In 2012 Liberty Seminars are moving to Lake Bled, a glacial lake situated in a picturesque environment, surrounded by mountains and forests. A medieval castle stands above the lake on the north shore. Bled Island, situated in the middle of the lake is the only natural island in Slovenia.
There are several buildings on the island, the main one being the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Mary, a popular wedding destination.
The lake itself was host to the World Rowing Championships in 1966, 1979, 1989 and 2011 due to its excellent conditions for the sport.
The Lake Bled region is also known in Slovenia for its traditional vanilla-and-cream pastry called kremsnita, from the German Cremeschnitte.
